Sr. Product Designer, AI
We're building AI Employees that run local businesses - agents that answer phones, book appointments, and close deals autonomously 24/7. Deployed at 100,000+ locations handling thousands of daily customer conversations across auto dealerships, home services companies, and aesthetics and wellness clinics.
You'll design how humans work alongside AI, and the systems they rely on when they're not. The interaction patterns for this don't exist yet - you'll help create them.
You'll be a design lead on this team, partnering directly with PM and engineering on some of the hardest UX problems in applied AI right now.
People are trusting AI agents to represent their business - to talk to their customers, handle their leads, and make decisions on their behalf. When the experience breaks down, trust goes with it. When it works, they hand off more.
Design is what determines which way that goes.
Your work shapes how 100,000+ businesses experience AI - and how far they're willing to trust it.

Requirements

• 4-5 years designing complex software that real people use daily under pressure - you've worked on systems where the underlying technology is powerful but the experience has to feel simple
• Track record of defining interaction paradigms, not just executing within them - you've invented patterns that didn't exist before, not just iterated on established ones
• Proven ability to do your own research and bring it back as product direction, not just design artifacts - you talk to customers, watch how they work, and walk out knowing what to build next
• Comfortable moving between high-ambiguity AI interaction problems and the core SaaS workflows that tie them together - you don't treat one as more interesting than the other
• CS degree or equivalent builder experience - you've shipped code, understand how systems work under the hood, and don't need engineering to explain why something is hard
• Prototypes in code as a default, not a last resort - Cursor, Claude Code, or similar are already part of how you work
• Comfortable designing across every surface the product touches - you don't get precious about the medium
• Curious about AI and how it changes the products you build - you don't need to be an expert but you need to care

Nice To Haves

• Background in home services, health/wellness, or automotive a plus

Responsibilities

• Design AI agent experiences - how agents show up, how they hand off to humans, and how they fail gracefully
• Define interaction models for AI-first workflows - how people understand what their agents are doing, step in when needed, and get better outcomes over time
• Design the core business workflows that sit alongside our agents - the records, queues, and dashboards that operators live in daily
• Make deeply complex systems feel simple to people who don't care how they work
• Set the design standard for the team and raise the craft bar across the entire product surface
• Lead with customers - on-site, running your own research, and using it to drive what we build next
• Drive alignment across PM, engineering, and GTM without needing a defined process to do it
