About The Position

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week. Red Ventures Growth & Transformation (RVGT) team is seeking a Creative Manager and critical thinker to join our growing Creative Team. You'll play an instrumental role in developing core consumer-facing products for external partnerships within the Financial Institution space, while also managing a team of product, or content designers. This role calls for a passionate individual who is highly skilled in creative problem solving, user-centered design processes, foundational knowledge in both UX and UI design, comfort in pitching work to senior level stakeholders, a curiosity in all things AI and a thorough understanding of UX research practices. The right candidate for this role will be highly organized and collaborative, with a passion for solving problems cross-functionally. You’ll wear many hats, incorporating user-centered content, user data and insights along with UX research into the design solutions you craft. But you won’t do it alone — you’ll have a collaborative cross-disciplinary team of product managers and software engineers alongside you, and access to a strong Creative organization in broader Red Ventures. Requirements

  • 4+ years designing consumer-focused tech across various platforms (web, mobile, apps, etc)
  • You have a killer portfolio that demonstrates a highly polished visual design sense, a clean command over interaction design, typography and usability, as well as creative strategy
  • You’re fluent in Figma, prototyping, and working with design systems
  • You’re a strong communicator and collaborator who is inspired to deliver great work and bring a strategy to life
  • You have a eagerness to learn, implement and understand new AI technologies in design ops
  • You’re comfortable presenting to and receiving feedback from senior stakeholders
  • You are always looking to grow your abilities through feedback and collaboration
  • You are proactive with strong time-management skills, taking the initiative for what needs to be done rather than waiting for instructions
  • You have an understanding of the financial world and its many intricacies
  • You look to better understand outputs through extensive user research and data insights
  • You enjoy staying flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
  • You deftly juggle multiple projects, set stakeholder expectations, working individually and collaboratively across teams
  • You can effectively lead workshops and facilitate collaboration across disciplines including senior leadership
  • Bring a positive, team-first mindset to your work

Responsibilities

  • Deliver highly polished visual designs and extend existing design systems
  • Drive creative solutions and approach forward autonomously & proactively
  • Think systematically to optimize UX/UI patterns for ease of use, and provide actionable mentorship to more junior designers
  • Develop subject-matter expertise, understand user problems, business goals, how competitors solve them, and where gaps exist
  • Partner with cross-functional peers and leads to oversee an experience from concept to handoff to launch
  • Embrace tooling and collaboration to craft and implement high-performing UX copy in (and beyond) your designs
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to utilize UX research insights and feedback across businesses and through iteration
  • Effectively balance user needs and business goals
  • Assist and support teammates through collaboration, critique and feedback
  • Build prototypes to validate your designs, then iterate and innovate based on data and findings.
  • Be autonomous, crave accountability and take responsibility for every detail, every step of the way
