We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to jump right in with us to build product experiences. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and help shape the future of digital collecting and commerce. This role requires a mix of interaction design, systems thinking, and prototyping expertise, with a strong ability to communicate design rationale, champion users, and deliver polished, high-quality work.

Requirements

  • 5 years as a Product Designer, UX Designer, or Interaction Designer, with experience in shipping real-world products.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered product design work, with a clear impact on users and businesses.
  • Mastery of Figma (Auto-Layout, Variants, Components, Design Systems, Prototyping).
  • Deep understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and accessibility best practices (WCAG standards).
  • Experience building and evolving Design Systems, with a keen eye for UI consistency and scalability.
  • Strong visual design skills—you know how to craft delightful, polished experiences that users love.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working alongside Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers in an agile product development environment.
  • Clear, concise communication skills, with an ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with designing for responsive web and mobile interfaces.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in e-commerce, fintech, gaming, or collectibles industries.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and an understanding of front-end development constraints.
  • Knowledge of motion design tools (After Effects, Rive, or Lottie) for enhancing UI interactions.
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing, data-driven design, and UX research methodologies.
  • Experience with AI-driven or personalization-based product features.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product design for major FC Tech initiatives, such as card manufacturing, enterprise software, our business to business platforms, instore technology, customer service and chat tools, and AI and chat initiatives.
  • Design intuitive, scalable, and visually compelling experiences that serve collectors, partners, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop interaction models, user flows, wireframes, and pixel-perfect UI designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Contribute to and expand the FC Tech Design System, ensuring consistency and scalability across all digital products.
  • Define and refine UI patterns, accessibility standards, and design guidelines.
  • Work closely with engineers to bridge the gap between design and development.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Business Stakeholders to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Advocate for design-led decision-making, ensuring that business and technical considerations don't come at the cost of usability.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale, articulate trade-offs, and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
  • Build and test interactive prototypes to validate ideas and refine user flows.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather qualitative and quantitative insights to improve designs.
  • Mentor junior designers, providing guidance on design thinking, process, and best practices.
