Storefront is DoorDash’s white-label digital ordering platform within our Commerce suite, empowering merchants to own their online presence and grow their first-party sales. We harness the scale, logistics, and technology of the DoorDash marketplace to help businesses launch custom branded websites and mobile apps that drive loyalty and long-term growth. This is a high-impact space at the intersection of consumer experience, merchant tooling, growth, and AI-driven innovation. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who is a true specialist in design craft. In this role, you’ll help define and elevate the quality of experiences across our platform, ensuring that products are not only functional but also visually engaging, intuitive, and delightful. You’ll work across surfaces and systems, from merchant-facing tools to consumer experiences, shaping interactions, visual language, and end-to-end workflows that communicate the value of Storefront to merchants. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Product Design for Storefront within DoorDash’s Commerce organization. This role follows a hybrid model, working from one of our offices 1–2 days per week.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience designing and shipping impactful digital products as a senior IC
  • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and can independently frame problems, generate direction, and drive execution
  • You are a meticulous designer who cares deeply about pixel-level detail, clarity, and usability
  • You’re fluent in experimentation and iterative product development, and understand how design drives business outcomes
  • You’re curious about emerging technologies, including AI, and thoughtful about how they can improve both product experiences and design workflows
  • You’re a strong communicator who can articulate strategy, rationale, and trade-offs across cross-functional partners

Responsibilities

  • Own and elevate design craft across the Storefront platform, from high-level systems to pixel-perfect details
  • Shape end-to-end experiences that are visually engaging, intuitive, and consistent across merchant and consumer touchpoints
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Content to ensure experiences reflect both business goals and user needs
  • Influence design standards, systems, and processes to raise the overall quality and consistency of the team’s output
  • Contribute to AI experimentation and optimization efforts where appropriate, applying your design expertise to maximize product impact
  • Influence how the team works, raising the bar for clarity, speed, and design excellence
