About The Position

As Senior Product Designer, you’ll own end-to-end design, from research to systems, ensuring Mason delivers experiences that are efficient, credible, and built for trust. You will design for AI + Trust, developing interaction patterns that communicate confidence, citations, and transparency. You will define how users understand when to trust, question, or override AI outputs. Additionally, you will architect complex workflows, designing intelligent, intuitive experiences for search, filtering, annotation, and review of massive document sets, creating tools that balance individual productivity with team collaboration. You will also build a scalable design system, extending Mason’s early UI patterns into a cohesive design system — defining tokens, accessibility standards, and component libraries that ensure consistency across dashboards and document views. Leading usability testing and research will be part of your role, where you will conduct testing with litigators and legal teams, translate insights into product improvements, and establish frameworks for continuous usability validation. Collaboration is key, as you will work alongside engineers, product managers, and legal subject-matter experts to deliver thoughtful, high-quality product experiences, defining design guidelines, establishing scalable workflows, and communicating design intent and trade-offs effectively across teams.
