HubSpot is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Reporting team, shaping the next generation of intuitive, insightful, and inspiring analytics tools for marketing professionals. Our mission is to help marketers confidently understand, act on, and communicate the impact of their work—all with ease. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to design reporting experiences that turn complex information into clear, compelling stories. Your work will focus on refining report builders, integrating specific KPIs, simplifying essential workflows, and ensuring our tools are accessible and empowering for all users.

Requirements

  • Turn complexity into clarity: Your work distills multifaceted interactions into simple, elegant, and scalable flows without sacrificing power.
  • Collaborate deeply: You thrive in cross-functional teams, building relationships with PMs, engineers, researchers, and marketers.
  • Visualize data with purpose: You understand how to choose and render visualizations that quickly tell the right story, track the right KPI, and inspire user action.
  • Prototype, test, and learn: You use user feedback, rapid prototyping, and usability testing to inform and validate your design decisions.
  • Advocate for user empathy: You bring a user-centric mindset and advocate for solutions that put the needs and experience of marketers first.
  • Communicate with clarity: You align stakeholders with clear, thoughtful rationale and use storytelling to generate excitement and buy-in.

Responsibilities

  • Design world-class tools: Create simple, powerful UX for building, visualizing, and sharing marketing analytics—distilling complexity into user-friendly, guided experiences.
  • Streamline workflows: Work with PMs and engineers to reduce friction, eliminate confusion, and make it easy for marketers to surface actionable insights.
  • Integrate meaningful KPIs: Partner with marketing experts to ensure reporting experiences showcase the metrics that matter most, enabling smarter, faster decision-making.
  • Elevate visual storytelling: Simplify data visualization, refine dashboards, and make data-driven insights clear and compelling for every marketing team.
  • Prototype and iterate: Use user research, usability testing, and rapid prototyping to evolve experiences based on real-world feedback.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusivity: Make sure everyone—regardless of experience or ability—can interpret and benefit from HubSpot’s reporting tools.
