About The Position

Udemy is hiring a Senior Product Counsel to advise on the legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks that power one of the world’s largest learning ecosystems. You’ll partner directly with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Design teams to guide innovation responsibly—helping Udemy deliver personalized, AI-powered learning experiences that reach over 80 million learners and 17,000 businesses globally. In this role, you’ll provide strategic counsel on product development, consumer protection, data privacy, and accessibility; advise on marketing campaigns, pricing, and promotions; and develop scalable frameworks to help teams move quickly while staying compliant across markets. You’ll also track emerging regulations around AI, digital marketplaces, and advertising—turning complex laws into actionable business guidance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience advising on product, compliance, and marketing matters.
• Experience preferably in-house within global, high-growth tech or consumer platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Sound judgment and ability to balance risk with business agility.
