About The Position

As a Senior Product Associate in Concourse, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success. You will partner closely with Engineering, UX, Controls, and Operations to shape product strategy, ship high‑quality features, and drive ongoing product success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in product management or closely related roles.
  • Proven ability to deliver against a product roadmap, including backlog management, prioritization, and issue/defect resolution.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Data‑driven mindset; comfortable interpreting product metrics and using insights to guide decisions and trade‑offs.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior payments experience across one or more rails or use cases (e.g., ACH, RTP, Wires, Card, Cross‑border).
  • Working knowledge of APIs, modern engineering practices, and the Agile product development lifecycle.
  • Experience leveraging data to understand user behavior, define KPIs, and evaluate experiments or A/B tests.
  • Up‑to‑date awareness of emerging FinTechs and payments industry trends, with the ability to integrate relevant advancements into product strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage directly with clients, understand needs, and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with risk and controls in financial services products.

Responsibilities

  • Define features and translate customer and business needs into clear, well‑structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams — Engineering, UX, Controls, and Operations — to deliver complex, multi‑release initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Own and refine the backlog for one or more product areas; prioritize work using data, client feedback, and business impact.
  • Partner with product delivery and commercialization teams to articulate the value proposition and enable go‑to‑market, including packaging, pricing inputs, and readiness.
  • Serve as a functional subject matter expert on product capabilities, conduct demos and walkthroughs for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Proactively communicate status, risks, and issues with clear mitigation plans; drive decision-making and unblock delivery.
  • Leverage user research and product analytics to identify friction points, inform roadmap decisions, and measure outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant payments standards and rules as features evolve.
