About The Position

The Systems Architecture team in AutoStore has the overarching responsibility for guiding the development team HW and SW solutions to optimize the system performance. This responsibility bridges between the customer facing product management branch, and the technically oriented R&D teams to translate market requirements into technical product requirements while considering the overall system performance. This requires deep and broad insight into the AutoStore system, as well as available technologies. We are Lean, Bold and Transparent - Join the robotic revolution with us!

Requirements

  • Education and experience within either mechanical design, robotics, electronics, embedded or real time programming.
  • Substantial analytical abilities, and a desire to learn every facet of a product and system.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical aspects of systems in simplified terms.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience within warehouse and logistics industry equipment is a plus.
  • Work experience with full cycle product development is a plus.
  • Work experience with software development and software architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partake in customer and partner meetings alongside Product Management to build firsthand insight into the challenges and use-cases that needs to be solved.
  • Architect and simulate system level solutions.
  • Effectively analyze and decompose system designs into product requirements.
  • Communicate with the product development teams and help guide them during the concept design phase of new products.
  • Drive innovation and creative thinking across R&D
