About The Position

As a Senior Producer at SixSpeed, you will play a pivotal role in successfully executing content productions. This position requires creative insight, project management prowess, and strong client relationship skills to ensure productions meet and exceed expectations within allocated resources. You will be central to the production; handling crew hiring, resource allocation, and bringing creative concepts to life safely, on budget, and on time. From pre-production through post-production, you'll monitor the budget, production processes, progress on set and in the office, addressing unexpected challenges and providing creative solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in content production and management, with a focus on commercial photo and video.
  • Proven track record of successful photo and video productions.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, design, and aesthetics.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Existing network of freelance producers, directors, photographers, videographers, and other industry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development, planning, and execution of content productions, aligning with client objectives and agency standards.
  • Manage and lead all production stages, including pre-production (budgeting, scheduling, staffing), production, and post-production.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop production plans, budgets, and timelines that achieve creative and production goals.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication with the internal creative team to bring creative visions to life.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with directors, cinematographers, music and sound producers.
  • Ensure project feasibility and develop alternative solutions as needed.
  • Anticipate and mitigate production risks, proactively addressing any issues.
  • Manage and track project expenses, reconciling budgets and ensuring profitability.
  • Source and manage freelance crew, vendors, talent, and locations, negotiating contracts within budget.
  • Oversee all production activities, including casting, wardrobe, set design, editing, and sound.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Mentor and guide producers and associate producers.
