The Senior Producer of Newsource Live at Warner Bros. Discovery is a pivotal role responsible for managing a dynamic and geographically diverse news and content production team. This position entails directing the execution and production of daily content products and strategies, as well as orchestrating live programming tailored for a vast client landscape. The Senior Producer collaborates closely with Newsource Managers and technical staff to dispatch crews for covering breaking news in the field and major planned events, while also executing client production deals centered in Washington and other CNN bureaus. As an editorial and production lead, the Senior Producer ensures that CNN's journalistic standards are upheld in every assignment. This role involves collaboration with CNN operations, editorial, and special events leads to cover stories that resonate with and impact over one thousand CNN broadcast affiliates and 200 radio clients. The Senior Producer is also expected to travel to coordinate major events and lead coverage on large-scale breaking news stories.
