The New York Times Video department is looking for a Senior Producer to work on our Reporter Video team, a multi-disciplinary team of video journalists creating groundbreaking, short-form digital journalism. The team identifies compelling stories and brings the depth and breadth of our news report onto our site and other platforms through video that features the expertise of our world-class journalists. You should be an experienced manager and team leader who works autonomously to identify critical stories outside the U.S. A track record of making sound editorial decisions on world news is essential. This job requires the ability to structure powerful video both on and off platform. We’re looking for a thoughtful storyteller and excellent collaborator. Video editing and cinematography skills are an asset. You’ll serve as a go-to resource for colleagues, providing editorial guidance and constructive feedback, and must be comfortable enforcing deadlines and working in a fast-paced newsroom. An effective communicator, you will work closely with colleagues on the International desk—in New York as well as in London and Seoul.
