Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit Purchase Requisitions (PR) in Ariba as per the requests from Business Units (BU) and other departments.
  • Ensure PRs are accurately documented and follow proper procurement procedures.
  • Monitor the status of purchase orders to ensure timely processing and delivery of goods/services.
  • Track goods receipts and follow up on any discrepancies between the order and the delivered goods.
  • Communicate with external vendors to obtain quotations and negotiate competitive pricing for goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure optimal terms and performance.
  • Verify invoices from vendors by cross-referencing with purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Report and resolve discrepancies between vendor invoices and POs, working closely with the finance team.
  • Complete the Vendor Business Relationship (VBR) assessment procedures for new vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and monitor existing contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Assist with the renewal or renegotiation of contracts as needed.
  • Request the bank to issue bank guarantees based on internal requirements, ensuring all documentation is complete and in compliance with company policies.
  • Manage and maintain a list of outstanding bank guarantees, including tracking expiration dates and ensuring timely renewals or cancellations as necessary.
  • Maintain records for all bank guarantees and ensure proper filing and tracking.
