About The Position

The Sr. Procurement Manager is a key leader within the Raw Materials & Energy Purchasing team, reporting directly to the Regional VP, Americas. In this role, you’ll oversee procurement operations for raw materials, energy, and packaging, ensuring our team delivers value and efficiency across Arkema Inc. and Bostik. You’ll lead a high-performing team, manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, and drive strategic initiatives that strengthen compliance, optimize costs, and improve processes. This position offers visibility within the leadership team and the opportunity to shape procurement strategy while championing digital transformation and continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, or Technical Development.
  • Minimum of 7 years in chemical industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of global/multi-regional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); ERP experience (SAP preferred).
  • Knowledge of P2P and e-sourcing platforms.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive change and implement new tools/processes.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals.
  • Provide strategic oversight of operations, policy compliance, and process optimization.
  • Oversee procurement of raw materials, energy, and packaging.
  • Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across multiple SAP platforms.
  • Resolve supplier issues and improve working capital metrics.
  • Monitor KPIs and procurement data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Ensure audit readiness and team efficiency.
  • Drive automation, digitalization, and M&A integration projects.
  • Develop training programs to build team capabilities.
  • Implement strategies for cost reduction and supplier consolidation.
