Senior Procurement (Development) Specialist performs/manages many key duties in a plant including EO/4M Changes Management, Parts Development, Suppliers’ Quality Issue, New Project Development process management and any other issues regarding Supply Chain Issues. Responsibility includes managing all the above for Development through Mass Production Stage. Corporate: Adheres to the HTGSS policies and procedures Learns, demonstrates and upholds HTGSS Core Values Complies with all HTGSS Certification standards; Management System (TS16949), Environmental ISO 14001-2015 and Health and Safety ISO 45001-2018 policies and procedures Treats all HTGSS team members with respect and professional courtesy Always strives to maintain a positive work environment Manages the department budget efficiently as per approved annual budget Performs additional assignments / duties as assigned EHS Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Complies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environment Meets company safety goals Technical: Propose or Receipt of 4M/EO Changes and process all required activities Analyze parts quality issue, productivity improvement, part supply issue, cost reduction, parts localization and customers’ request etc. Check Cost information for parts change (Investment Cost, Increase/Decrease of unit price, etc.) if necessary Implement strategies in minimizing cost to maintain the company’s forecasted budget New Parts Sample T/O and validate effectiveness EPI (Effective Part Information) tracking and management of production line implementation. Collect and evaluate countermeasures regarding suppliers’ parts quality issue if necessary. Check effectiveness and F/Proof for Suppliers’ countermeasure. Development status follow up from development stage to SOP level for new project. Suppliers’ Development process/status check for new project or parts development. Daily/Weekly based Suppliers’ inventory status check activities for prevention of part shortage. Analysis forecast and figure out potential risk of Suppliers’ part shortage issue in advance Coordination with suppliers making sure all delivery schedules are met on a timely basis. Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems. Maintain files and keep all records. Establish and build a pleasant relationship with suppliers for future business dealings. Prepare a contingency plan. Other duties as assigned
