In this position, you will initially support a leading global infrastructure investor and developer with procurement and contracts management across their onshore renewables portfolio. However, this is much more than a single client assignment – we're looking for someone to help us establish a strong foundation in the Australia and, over time, play a key role in the continued growth, development and success of JUMBO. This role is central to building our capabilities to serve these markets. The Opportunity We have an immediate opportunity to support a key client with procurement and contracts management across their onshore renewables portfolio in Australia. JUMBO already works with this customer on a global basis, providing procurement and contracts management services for their offshore wind portfolio in Europe, US, Australia, Taiwan, Philippines, and South Korea. Initial Focus – Onshore Wind (Melbourne) The role will initially focus on the client’s onshore wind portfolio, which is primarily located in Melbourne. You will be responsible for managing procurement and contracts across key project areas, with particular emphasis on: Turbine Supply – sourcing of WTGs and negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreements (TSAs) Balance of Plant (BOP) – including civil, electrical and grid connection scopes Operations & Maintenance (O&M) – long-term service agreements Expanding Scope The role will expand to support the wider portfolio of BESS, utility-scale solar PV, and new onshore wind developments throughout Australia. Requirements

  • Significant experience in procurement and/or contracts management on onshore wind projects
  • Proven track record negotiating and managing Turbine Supply Agreements (TSAs) and related WTG contracts
  • Experience with Balance of Plant (BOP) and/or O&M contract scopes
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Structured and methodical approach to work
  • Ability to project manage processes and lead negotiations
  • Experience working on projects in Australia
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field of study

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with BESS and/or utility-scale solar PV projects

Responsibilities

  • Procurement Planning, implementation and execution of procurement and tender strategies for major project packages
  • Lead the complete procurement process including RFIs, RFPs, proposal evaluation, recommendation of award and contract finalization
  • Draft and negotiate contracts including turbine supply, service, consultancy, supply and installation contracts
  • Lead and coordinate commercial, technical, financial and legal expertise while ensuring compliance with client governance and approval procedures
  • Maximize value in terms of quality, price and schedule while minimizing risk
  • Actively participate in vendor relationship management and market intelligence
  • Drafting and negotiation of main contracts throughout the lifecycle of project development and execution
  • Work alongside the project management team to ensure successful project delivery, balancing risk with commercially and contractually viable solutions
  • Maintain continuous oversight of critical milestones, rights and obligations according to contract
  • Direct and process changes, variations and claims in compliance with client commercial interests
  • Provide interpretation of contracts, organize correspondence with contracting parties and monitor fulfilment of obligations
  • Manage commercial relationships with contractors, ensuring issues are dealt with proactively
  • Drive governance processes and present to stakeholders and decision bodies including Steering Committees
  • Support client development and industry engagement in the Australien market
  • Contribute to specialist knowledge centers and development of best practices, guidelines, processes, tools and templates
  • Support team growth and capability building as we expand our presence
