About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Agent to support the Supply Chain Proprietary Team in Seal Beach, CA.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• 3+ years of experience management suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience creating, interpreting and/or enforcing technical requirements
• 3+ years of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurements that exceed the Truth In Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold
• 3+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• 3+ years of experience interpreting, enforcing and/or negotiating contract terms and conditions
• Experience interfacing with program management
• Experience engaging with senior and/or executive leadership

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements
• Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions
• Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
• Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
• Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies
