The Gummy Process Engineer at Nestlé Health Science is responsible for the introduction of new gummy products and processes, providing expertise from ideation to the first plant production. This role involves supporting factory CAPEX projects and offering technical support to factories through the Technical Assistance Request process, ensuring efficient and optimized gummy manufacturing operations.

  • Design and develop gummy products and processes from small-scale manufacturing to commercial operation.
  • Support the development of the Gummy Technology and processes roadmap for NHSc.
  • Analyze existing equipment and recommend modifications for process optimization.
  • Manage the planning and execution of Gummy processes in accordance with project briefs.
  • Collaborate with project team members to improve efficiency and strengthen competencies.
  • Communicate project status and results through written documentation and presentations.
  • Prepare and review PFD, P&ID's, or project-specific specifications.
  • Perform process calculations like heat & mass balance and utility sizing.
  • Provide technical assistance remotely or on-site for gummy manufacturing.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements to stakeholders.
  • Participate in technical due diligence evaluations of suppliers and technical line validations of factories worldwide.
  • Support knowledge and competence transfer from NHSc NPTC Bridgewater to factories.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of Process Engineering experience in Gummies, Confectionary or similar.
  • Previous experience working on OSD facility projects.
  • Project Management Experience in a Food Manufacturing facility.
  • Experience in mixing, molding, cooling, demolding, and filling processes.
  • Experience in IQ, OQ, PQ and Validation processes.
  • Good working knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD usage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
