Job Summary This role operates within established work routines and requires awareness of surrounding process areas. The position involves controlling work pace and equipment progress while ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of chemicals used in assigned processes.
  • Completion of site‑specific safety and operator training.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or plant experience.
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Ability to complete 40‑hour hazardous waste operations training

Responsibilities

  • Follow all workplace safety policies and product quality guidelines.
  • Read and follow documented processes and procedures.
  • Monitor equipment throughout the shift to ensure proper operation.
  • Load and unload deliveries to/from regional branches.
  • Enter required documentation into computer systems.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs when needed.
  • Contribute to overall division performance and results.
  • Support internal and external customer needs and expectations.
  • Bag products, prepare samples, and perform testing.
  • Manage spent carbon feed to the reactivation furnace.
  • Switch tank feeds between spent‑carbon tanks.
  • Calibrate pH probes.
  • Operate a filter press.
  • Run the facility wastewater treatment plant.
  • Sort bottles by size and resin type.
  • Operate a forklift to move bottles/materials throughout the plant and on/off trucks.
  • Evacuate bottles and create resin batches.
  • Fill and conduct quality tests on SDI products (full start‑to‑finish process).
