The Global Standards & Customer Excellence (GSCE) organization is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Specialist to drive network-wide projects and innovate new processes at scale to join our Cross Mile Continuous Improvement (XMCI) team. The XMCI team is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Specialist with strong analyst skills to own the metrics framework, financial validation, entitlement tracking, and reporting narrative that tells the story of XMCI's impact across NA Operations. This is a process improvement role with a data-driven focus — you won't be building the data infrastructure yourself, but you will be the CI and business subject matter expert who defines what needs to be measured, why it matters, and how it should be presented to leadership. You will partner closely with Business Intelligence and Engineering (BIE) resources to translate your requirements into the dashboards, data products, and automated solutions that power XMCI's reporting ecosystem. This role operates across multiple miles and business units within Amazon Stores, providing broad exposure to senior leadership up to the VP level and a unique vantage point into how Amazon's end-to-end logistics network operates. Your most visible responsibility will be creating and maintaining the team's primary reporting artifacts — the documents and narratives included in all business reviews across the organization. You will own the metrics framework, business logic, and executive storytelling that provide XMCI leadership, NA Operations stakeholders, and senior executives with a clear, accurate, and compelling picture of our CI program's performance and financial health. You will define the reporting requirements and work with BIE partners to build and refine the dashboards and data products that bring those requirements to life. You will be responsible for ensuring our reporting is business review-ready at all times — current, validated, defensible, and actionable — and your ownership of this ecosystem will directly shape how leadership perceives and invests in the CI program. Underpinning the reporting is the analytical and governance work you will own. You will define what data needs to be pulled from across the XMCI ecosystem — kaizen charters, event results, Finance validation outputs, entitlement tracking, and network operational metrics — and partner with BIE resources to build the pipelines and models that aggregate it into a holistic view of program performance. You will own the end-to-end financial validation lifecycle, partnering with Finance business partners to substantiate and gain formal sign-off on all savings claims. You will design entitlement tracking mechanisms that monitor benefit sustainment over time, flagging at-risk entitlements and feeding decay pattern insights back to the team. And you will define the standardized metrics, savings categorizations, and Finance-approved calculation methodologies that create consistency and auditability across the entire XMCI program. The right candidate is a process improvement professional with the business analyst mindset to define what needs to be measured and the CI expertise to know why it matters. You are comfortable working with data — proficient in Excel, able to navigate data sets, and fluent in translating business needs into clear requirements for technical partners. You are obsessive about data quality and accuracy. But above all, you understand that data without narrative is just noise — and you have the communication skills to turn numbers into the story that earns trust, drives decisions, and proves the value of Lean Excellence at Amazon scale.
