The position involves developing and modifying process formulations, methods, and controls to meet quality standards. The role requires recommending and implementing improvements, modifications, or additions to document work. Advanced statistical tools will be used to analyze data on project results and overall manufacturing performance. The candidate will review product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules, and provide new product design testing and verification of fit, form, and function for commercialization. Additionally, the role includes integrating equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications. The candidate will participate in or lead documentation of work instructions and procedures, apply advanced knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience, write test protocols and summary reports for testing products and validating equipment, support in designing, specifying, and coordinating the purchase and fabrication of machinery, and lead and coordinate special projects to support and promote quality and productivity at CSP. The position also involves managing projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision.
