Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Science related field, is preferred.
  • 7+ years relevant engineering experience in a variety of staff or mill assignments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions/departments to drive balanced business decisions.
  • Track record of research and engineering leadership and success, as well as a strong fundamental understanding of tissue technologies, processes and products.
  • Demonstrated strengths in scientific experiment methods/analysis, planning/organizing, developing learning plans, comprehension of technical literature and executing consumer research.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide work direction to team members not in a direct reporting relationship.
  • Experience in product development, tissue processes, design of experiments, data analysis and safe operation of high-speed manufacturing and/or converting equipment and processes.

Nice To Haves

  • The focus of this role will be supporting the UCTAD and LDC business, leading process and material development projects and initiatives, preferred.
  • 25-30% in-country travel with some international travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support programs through process leadership focused on the development and commercialization of tissue innovation, including sustainable fiber implementation.
  • Coach and mentor team members to increase technical understanding and ability to execute programs to improve Family Care's business results.
  • Support/manage budgets and resource forecasts relating to innovation project development and execution.
  • Maintain technical and scientific expertise in the area of sustainable tissue technology and develop the ability to communicate impacts of developments on Kimberly-Clark.
  • Effectively flow to work as priorities dictate within the team/sector and be self-motivated to seek out business opportunities that may have yet to be uncovered.
  • Drive a culture of protected and documented innovation to protect and defend Kimberly-Clark proprietary technology, products, and business processes through appropriate use of patents and trade secrets.
