Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting and adaptable Water Treatment, Process or Operations Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will provide onsite technical support for a key customer located around the Lakeland. This position requires a selected candidate to work full time onsite with occasional remote office days. Candidate will have personally assigned vehicle to accommodate local travel between assigned sites. Core Responsibilities and Tasks Innovate process treatment to improve site production Provide support in design, development, testing and modifications of systems Implementation of process changes to improve safety, cost, production, and reliability Participate in material specification, schematic preparation and appropriate follow-up Prepare explanations and clarify information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of specifications, performance characteristics or other technical data Communicate technical and commercial issues Position Requirements FORMAL EDUCATION: BS/BA degree in Engineering 5+ minimum years of experience KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Experience in design, installation, start up, operation and maintenance of industrial sized Reverse Osmosis systems is preferred Hands-on experience within a plant is required Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizing, and planning skills Able to mentor, teach and train others on proper operation of water treatment processes A self-starter, capable of working independently Must be a good communicator, (verbally and in writing) and have good customer focus Additional Details TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Local travel between sites Salary Range: 100,000-120,000 Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use. Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Engineering
  • 5+ minimum years of experience
  • Experience in design, installation, start up, operation and maintenance of industrial sized Reverse Osmosis systems is preferred
