About The Position

The Senior Process Engineer will motivate and provide direction to the Process Technicians, ensuring appropriate directions, training, and evaluation. The role involves developing and maintaining the process standards in which all parts are manufactured, reviewing production and operating records, and resolving technical processing issues. The engineer will follow established action plans for processes that are out of range, specify project management, and oversee the buy-off of new equipment. Additionally, the engineer will manage the exploration of new materials and processes to achieve the best quality, process, and reliability. The position also includes motivating and training mold setters, verifying and applying narrow ranges for optimum processes to meet customer expectations, compiling data to assist in budget preparation, and maintaining documentation closely while enforcing safety rules daily.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Plastics/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering, Technology degree or similar.
• 2-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Injection Molding with presses ranging from 85-3200 tons.
• At least 2 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants.
• Master-root cause troubleshooting with problem solving.
• Experience with valve gate, hot runner systems, and scientific injection molding principles.
• Desire to be hands-on and overcome daily challenges.
