AtkinsRéal is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization. For over 50 years, we've partnered with public and private clients across the U.S. to deliver infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, urban planning, architecture, and program management. Our depth and breadth of expertise enables us to tackle the most technically complex and time-sensitive projects-driving innovation, resilience, and real-world impact where it matters most.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering. M.S. or graduate level technical coursework preferred.
  • 15 years of related experience since Bachelor's or 14 years since Master's. Typical incumbent has 20+ years of experience.
  • Strong persuasive ability, technical writing and communications skills are expected at this level, proven through technical presentations, technical papers and/or participation in technical committees.
  • P.E. license is required.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Gold extraction and process.
  • Ability to supervise all process deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Act as Lead Process Engineer on projects or studies.
  • Engage with clients to understand project requirements.
  • Process scope definition and technology selection.
  • Undertake trade off studies to resolve options.
  • Identify, scope and manage process test work (on site or laboratory based).
  • Conduct capacity analysis for existing plants.
  • Select and size the equipment for projects including the development of specification sheets.
  • Provide frequent training, guidance and supervision to junior colleagues.
  • Develop and supervise typical engineering deliverables (process design criteria, mass and heat balances, design of process flow diagrams, P&IDs and process control logic).
