This role in summary Whirlpool is currently seeking candidates for an Analyst/ Finish Process Engineering opening to join our operations organization in Tulsa, OK. the North American location where Whirlpool's premium line ranges are built. This is an onsite role. The Finish Senior Process Engineer/ Senior Analyst provides design guidance based on manufacturing process capabilities, key interface with plant personnel to assess process capability gaps pertinent to architecture/subsystem needs, closes process knowledge gaps, Leads/coordinates process technology development including solution generation and convergence, ensures applicable BoP's are followed, coordinates Mfg trials and prototype builds, delivers process technology specification by G2, works with plant NPI and regional engineering teams to deliver new process technologies / subsystems from DEVELOP in the execution phase, ensures DLM events are completed, results communicated and acted upon, tracks BoP Compliance for the platform, participates in and may lead BoP development specific to platform processes, signs off on whether product design meets BoP design recommendations for processability, maintains awareness of latest process technology trends, triggers development of new BoP's or BoP expansion to support common architectures, responsible for driving Product Leadership through the Whirlpool Product Development process, including the following: create preliminary PFMEA, characterize process to identify key inputs (x's) that can provide consistent outputs (y's), and close PFMEA action plans and update document. This job function is responsible for the engineering and technical operations of the organization. Depending on the organization, activities may involve various branches of the engineering profession, for example electronic, environmental, mechanical, maintenance or plant engineering. Activities include designing, constructing, testing and operating equipment; ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness and performance are met in production processes; and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications.
