About The Position

Senior Process Development Engineers at Philips Ultrasound drive the development of manufacturing processes for high intellectual property Ultrasound transducers built in our vertically integrated manufacturing environment. Your Role: Work collaboratively with the Manufacturing Development and R&D teams, plus our Ultrasound factories and suppliers, to bring cutting-edge Ultrasound products into production with high quality and solid business results. Use platform manufacturing techniques to leverage existing architectures, as well as looking to new technologies, to ensure new products are highly manufacturable. Lead problem solving teams on some of our most challenging technical issues. Mentor junior engineers on manufacturing process development, continuous improvement, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • You’ve acquired 7+ years of experience developing processes for technically complex manufacturing operations.
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • Your skills include thinking broadly at a systems‑engineering level while also diving into technical details to solve complex issues.
  • Your skills include strong interpersonal, leadership, teamwork, and coaching abilities, along with excellent communication and proven experience resolving advanced technical challenges.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.

  • For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA.
