As the Senior Private Wealth Advisory Market Leader, you will co-lead a high-performing team of wealth professionals to deliver comprehensive strategies for high-net-worth clients. This role combines leadership, strategic market growth, and client relationship management to elevate our Private Wealth presence. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our market, mentor senior leaders, and make a lasting impact on clients and colleagues alike.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years in financial services/wealth management, business development, and sales management
  • 7+ years of sales leadership experience with full Wealth Advisory teams
  • 7+ years of experience with investment products, financial planning, and wealth management best practices

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a diverse team of Private Bankers, Trust Officers, Wealth Planners, Financial Advisors, and Retirement Planning Specialists, fostering high performance, professional growth, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute strategic market plans to grow business, increase market share, and accelerate the upward migration of mass-affluent clients into Private Wealth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, delivering personalized, comprehensive wealth management solutions while ensuring compliance and governance standards.
  • Partner across consumer, commercial, and business banking lines, as well as internal stakeholders (investment advisors, portfolio managers, legal, and compliance), to deliver cohesive client strategies and promote Associated Bank’s products.
  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire talent while acting as the primary ambassador for the wealth brand through community engagement and outreach.
  • Drive performance by monitoring team metrics, elevating KPI behaviors, leading market-based meetings, training, and performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of growth, DE&I, and innovation.
  • Demonstrate executive presence and thought leadership, serving as the senior point of contact for team leaders, clients, and external partners, representing the bank professionally and effectively.
