Requirements

  • Proven experience in computer hardware testing and reliability engineering.
  • Familiarity with various testing methods, including thermal testing, load testing, and stress testing.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct various tests on computer hardware components, including but not limited to motherboards, graphics cards, connectors, and batteries.
  • Perform system-level reliability testing, including thermal shock, drop shock, vibration, and highly accelerated life tests (HALT).
  • Develop and implement qualification standards based on known and anticipated failure mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with design teams to provide guidance throughout the development life cycle.
  • Analyze test results and identify potential issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Ensure product reliability and continuity of supply via system-level qualification.
  • Participate in critical component core teams and define specifications.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions when failures occur.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and any modifications made during testing.
