The Systems Engineering Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE). The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LWMDS) Department supports Raytheon by providing world class technical expertise and engineering leadership to drive the design and development of world-class Air and Missile Defense Systems, Sensors, and Effectors. The LWMDS department leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support Raytheon's Land and Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) programs from our Tewksbury / Andover locations.
