The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team discipline is seeking a Test Lead to support NASAMS surface to air defense system programs to manage the execution of integration, verification, and validation scope. This role will be responsible for collaborating internally across functions and externally with our industry partners and U.S. Government customers to plan, prepare, and execute Product Acceptance Testing and System Demonstration of the NASAMS defense system Fire Unit. This position reports to the overall NASAMS SI&T Cross Product Team lead.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with systems engineering, system integration, system verification, and/or system test.
  • Experience leading technical teams including managing cost, schedule and quality
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance after start.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Knowledge and experience with developing proposals
  • Experience developing staffing plans and identifying staffing assignments
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction over the integration & test team supporting multiple NASAMS contracts – includes the planning, development and review of test procedures, and execution of test events
  • Identify resources required for execution of test events
  • Responsible for partnering test and validation approach with program management and external customers/partners
  • International travel up to 20% including, but not limited to, travel to Norway for test. Regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire is required.
