Raytheon is seeking a Signals Analyst to join our Mission Systems Engineering team. This role requires strong analytical judgment, technical expertise in signal environments, and the ability to produce clear, actionable products.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using Oracle Real Application Cluster, back-up and Recovery, Data Guard, and container and pluggable databases.
  • Experience using Oracle Weblogic Technology.
  • Experience using Cloudera and Big Data Solutions.
  • Experience with Linux command line to perform database administrations activities.
  • Experience troubleshooting across hardware, software, and network interfaces.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, storage solutions, and system monitoring tools.
  • Experience leading technical efforts without direct authority.
  • Experience in presentations, interfacing with senior technical and program leadership.
  • An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
  • Experience with Tivoli Storage Manager
  • Experience with shell scripting language (i.e., csh, ksh) undefined.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and sustain complex engineering system environments supporting development, integration, and test activities.
  • Serve as a technical authority for system administration across multiple platforms (Linux/Windows-based environments)
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop, document, and enforce system administration processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Proactively identify system improvements, automation opportunities, and performance optimizations.
  • Prepare for potential leadership responsibilities by demonstrating initiative, ownership, and strategic thinking.
