We put our customers first - exemplified by our mission: “We Protect Those Who Protect Us®.” BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our production efforts in our Terminal High Area Altitude Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. This position will support production program activities, including the interfacing with the production staff, understanding the system requirements, creating and reviewing reports and streamlining processes. This position has growth opportunities to support failure analysis efforts including running tests in support of troubleshooting and driving root cause on failures. Our engineers are members of cross-functional, multi-disciplined teams focused on developing cost-effective systems that meet the needs of our customers. Candidates should be comfortable working with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of protégés, developing White Papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events. Requirements

• Experience in working with production to run test stands.

• Experience with writing and updating Matlab scripts.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science.
• An active Secret clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with missile systems and guided projectiles.
• Exposure to the development, integration, test, qualification and production of complex electro/mechanical systems.
