Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) is seeking a Deputy Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) Cross-Product Team (CPT) Lead within the Upper Tier Missile Defense (UTMD) Product Area. You will be a self-motivated, passionate leader who collaboratively works with the UTMD SI&T CPT Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving execution and efficient engineering practices across development, production, and sustainment programs for X-Band Radars and reports directly to the UTMD SI&T CPT Lead. This role requires strong technical expertise and engineering leadership skills to drive the integration, test, and sustainment of world-class missile defense systems. Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with systems engineering, system integration, system verification, and/or system test.
  • Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.
  • Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM), Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/ Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, and/or bids/proposals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and/or Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • Program Manager Level 6 certified with experience communicating and negotiating with multiple internal/external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification of RF systems while also managing various tasks, requirements, and commitments.
  • Experience with proposals and bidding processes, developing staffing plans, identifying staffing assignments, and creating/using metrics to inform data driven decisions.
  • Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle including compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide team (team size>150 engineers) direction, manage through uncertain/changing priorities, and guide engineering sub-team leads to make plans and engineering decisions.
  • Manage/monitor the execution of work scope, determine team staffing allocations, and provide feedback on team execution.
  • Coordinate across organizational disciplines and functions to identify team/work issues, resolve roadblocks and ensure completion of team objectives.
  • Lead development and reporting of proposal costing efforts and develop, manage and refine functional metrics.
  • Support program execution and growth through continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools.
  • Develop a team capable of delivering integration plans, integration information sheets, test plans, verification items, analysis scripts, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Occasional local and non-local travel.
