Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Test Architect to work within the Systems Department with the Advanced Networks Solutions (ANS) group. This individual contributes to all phases of the product development lifecycle (i.e. systems and software requirements, system architecture and design, software integration and test, simulation and test, integration and test, verification and sell-off), within an interdisciplinary process that ensures the customer and warfighters needs are satisfied through every stage. This position is located in St. Petersburg, FL and is eligible for relocation. A current US Secret clearance is required. The Senior Principal Systems Test Architect is the Voice of Test for the program and is accountable for developing, implementing, and executing a Living Test Strategy for the Program. The Systems Test Architect is the Source of Truth for user operations, engineering development, and production test while ensuring all test related activities are properly coordinated across the program. The Systems Test Architect serves as the Key Interface with the customer and Collins Aerospace Engineering for the Program Test Strategy and Architecture. The selected applicant will join a team of talented engineers with integration and testing of sophisticated naval and maritime systems in support of the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) program, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, as part of Advanced Networking Solutions (ANS). The U.S. Navy’s CEC, a real-time ‘sensor-netting’ system that brings together radar data into a single integrated air picture from geographically dispersed ships, aircraft, and ground-based units. This integrated picture improves a battlegroup’s effectiveness by enabling longer range, cooperative, or layered engagements.
