We have an opening for a Senior Principal Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Developer on the NGP Operations & Training team in Redondo Beach, CA. In this role, you will author SOPs that will be used in an Operational Environment as well as the Training Environment. You will be supporting the product vision and statement of work, ensuring that the products meet timely deliveries.

  • Apply knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
  • Partner with subject matter experts and technology experts to execute the systems engineering statement of work
  • Work directly with stakeholders, designers and engineers to deliver quality products and features
  • Work cross functionally with other teams to execute the product strategy and roadmap
  • Help to manage product backlog, iteration planning and elaboration of user stories
  • Contribute to Operational Product development and maturity
  • Coordinate closely with SMEs to ensure that Ops product development meets delivery with corresponding content
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Training members on the Operations & Training Team for product input and development
  • 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in STEM
  • 6 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in STEM
  • 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD in STEM
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required at the time of application
  • Previous experience writing Standard Operating Procedures
  • Experience in Space Vehicle Health and Safety Operations experience or context
  • Ability to travel occasionally
