About The Position

At Multicloud Services organization, our mission is to support customer choice, transparency, and value when it comes to cloud infrastructure. We make it easy for our customers to maximize the value of their Oracle investment as well as other clouds or on-premises infrastructure, and build highly distributed, scalable, and resilient Multicloud solutions to support their business. We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of cloud service software engineering: high-scale distributed systems, virtualized infrastructure, identity, security, observability, and user experience. This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new cloud services from the ground up. We are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives. An engineer at any level can have a significant technical and business impact here. You will be part of a team of smart, motivated, diverse people, and given the autonomy as well as support to do your best work. It is a dynamic and flexible workplace where you'll belong and be encouraged. You will be part of the centralized architecture team responsible for developing and disseminating architecture roadmaps for comprehensive multicloud initiatives, encompassing networking, child sites, parent sites, control planes, security, observability, high availability, reliability, disaster recovery, reference architecture, and maximum availability architecture. Who are we looking for? We are looking for engineers with experience in building control plane components for public cloud services, including Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. You have experience with the design of major features and launching them into production. You have built and operated high-scale public cloud services and have a deep understanding of control plane architecture. You work on most projects and tasks independently and extend technical leadership to development teams. In this role, you will enable development teams by driving the design of major service components, working with engineering managers and TPMs, and providing direct guidance to more junior team members. You can go from high-level system design, writing architectural documentation, and driving engineering peer reviews to hands-on prototyping, code reviews, and project bootstrapping. You are technically strong and get a lot done. You can balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements. You've made life easier for other developers and have motivated your teams to make both process and service improvements with your ability to automate and instrument your service. You understand operational excellence and how to instill a culture of high quality and customer focus. As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow's technology to tackle today's challenges. We've partnered with industry-leaders in almost every sector-and continue to thrive after 40+ years of change by operating with integrity. We know that true innovation starts when everyone is empowered to contribute. That's why we're committed to growing an inclusive workforce that promotes opportunities for all. Oracle careers open the door to global opportunities where work-life balance flourishes. We offer competitive benefits based on parity and consistency and support our people with flexible medical, life insurance, and retirement options. We also encourage employees to give back to their communities through our volunteer programs. We're committed to including people with disabilities at all stages of the employment process. If you require accessibility assistance or accommodation for a disability at any point, let us know by emailing [email protected] or by calling +1 888 404 2494 in the United States.
