Senior/Principal Software Engineer, Mainframe Software on z/VM
About The Position
Broadcom Mainframe Software Division (MSD) is looking for an experienced and self-driven Software Engineer for the z/VM Management Products team. In this role, you will maintain and enhance Broadcom’s suite of z/VM products that manage security, report management, and system automation on z/VM, including VM:Secure, VM:Backup, and VM:Spool. Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- Prior experience as a developer on z/VM or z/OS; z/VM preferred
- Strong HLASM skills a must
- Proficiency in REXX
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US
