SSI is seeking a Senior Principal Program Management Analyst for a role in Colorado Springs, CO. Role and Responsibilities: You'll provide advice to Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting, and execution. You'll prepare periodic status reports, coordinate, and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings. You will develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02 / Acquisition Framework, and relevant DoD, AF, and local unit policies that pertain to rapid prototyping. You will provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements. You'll provide program element coordination, staffing, and monitoring; advise and assist government customers regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures, as well as drafting and supporting the delivery of program funding documentation and monthly financial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent business-related discipline and 14 years or more years in government weapon systems acquisitions and program management and, or Contracts management within the Department of War or 12 years if you have a Master's Degree. 4 additional years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.
  • Must have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable).
  • Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.
  • Experience with Department of Defense Major Capability Acquisition System processes.
  • Experience with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System processes.
  • Experience with Planning, Programing, Budget and Execution processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in business management, technical management, and/or engineering.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
  • Experience in the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area.

Responsibilities
