Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Principal Digital Electrical Engineer to perform duties at a work center with an emphasis on communications products. The primary work product is the complete digital design of a PCB (Printed Wiring Board) from inception through layout and assembly. Responsibilities include the ability to follow hardware design requirements, observe design checklists, adhere to accepted processes, prepare design documentation, work within a team environment and mentor junior engineers. The ability to coordinate with multi-disciplines such as Layout, Systems, Mechanical, Test, FPGA, and Software engineers is a must. Moreover, proficiency with analog and mixed‐signal circuits is necessary. The successful candidate must be a self‐starter and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, effectively network, and communicate at all levels of the organization to ensure successful completion of projects in support of aggressive schedules. Other desirable attributes include operating with the highest level of personal integrity, be able to work under own initiative, calm under pressure and responsive to change with a logical approach to technical problem resolution and decision making.
