Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice To Haves

  • Progressive experience in sourcing/procurement, with managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar complex environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or similar).
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed (up to 15%).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor supplier quality performance
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments
  • Approve new suppliers through qualification process
  • Review and approve supplier quality documents (PPAP, control plans, etc.)
  • Ensure suppliers meet company quality standards and requirements
  • Investigate supplier-related defects and drive corrective actions
  • Track and reduce supplier defects (PPM, rejection rates)
  • Lead root cause analysis for supplier issues
  • Work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support new product launches with supplier quality planning
  • Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Monitor supplier risk and escalate critical issues
  • Review supplier performance metrics and present reports to leadership
  • Support cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
