Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Nice To Haves
- Progressive experience in sourcing/procurement, with managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar complex environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or similar).
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed (up to 15%).
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor supplier quality performance
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments
- Approve new suppliers through qualification process
- Review and approve supplier quality documents (PPAP, control plans, etc.)
- Ensure suppliers meet company quality standards and requirements
- Investigate supplier-related defects and drive corrective actions
- Track and reduce supplier defects (PPM, rejection rates)
- Lead root cause analysis for supplier issues
- Work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives
- Support new product launches with supplier quality planning
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Monitor supplier risk and escalate critical issues
- Review supplier performance metrics and present reports to leadership
- Support cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
