Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated headquarters office subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. Travel expenses associated with commuting to the employee's office headquarters location are not reimbursable, other than authorized transit subsidies. Requirements

- Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s).
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Excel Power Query, SAS, Tableau
- Familiarity with using actuarial data for analyses
- Knowledge of data management system design and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with Health Exchanges
- Excellent time management skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses based on actuarial studies, market research, detailed financial data and perform financial risk assessment and develop annual premium projection scenarios in conjunction with the actuary team
- Independently and as team lead, perform queries, analyses, develop ad hoc reports, and interpret large data sets associated with assessing plan rates, network and performance and synthesizes competitive data and benchmarks
- Provide clear and concise verbal and written reports to communicate optimally with management, executives, and collaborators and to educate them about research finding
