At NetApp, we believe data and AI are powerful forces for good. As NetApp's Senior Pricing Program Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, develop analytical models, and deliver data-driven solutions. You will play a key role in a pricing strategy rollout and drive the adoption of new tools for pricing management, while reporting impact to NetApp’s executives. This role requires US Citizenship and will work from our San Jose Office 2 days per week.

  • Conduct necessary analysis to support pricing guidance decisions on product launches and evolving business situations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and challenges, identifying key business problems that can be addressed through data analysis.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations, and apply statistical techniques and data mining methods to extract insights from data.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and insights to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Define requirements for dashboards and reports for use with leadership and stakeholder reviews, as well as for tool updates and maintenance.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization on initiative and program tracking.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in reporting and visualization.
  • Validate pricing model and rules to ensure business strategies and requirements are met.
  • Proven track record of leading pricing transformation projects, including the implementation of pricing tools, systems, and governance processes to enhance pricing effectiveness.
  • Running complex pricing analytics across various product lines and market segments to inform pricing decisions and strategies.
  • Deep understanding of hardware management with a strong understanding of storage markets and cloud data services, including industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive forces.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, deal desk, finance, and product management) to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives and market conditions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex and large datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • US Citizen required, working from our San Jose Office 2 days per week.
  • A Master’s degree in quantitative fields such as data science, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • 2+ years in consulting, and/or pricing advisory.
