About The Position

The Senior Pricing Analyst (On-site position in Nampa, Idaho) will take a lead role in shaping our pricing and inventory strategy.  The position is highly analytical, and will independently develop pricing framework, conduct in-depth cost and market analysis, and help to influence cross-departmental decision-making.  While this is not a people-management position, it carries elevated responsibility, visibility, and strategic influence, playing a key role in ensuring our pricing aligns with market conditions, competition, inventory objectives, and overall company goals.

  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or cost modeling
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing cost drivers
  • Excellent data interpretation and communication skills
  • English - Fluent
  • Ability to communicate complex pricing and financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Advanced quantitative analysis skills, including statistical analysis, financial modeling, and margin optimization
  • Strong ability to interpret large data sets and translate quantitative findings into actionable pricing recommendations
  • Advanced Excel skills for pricing, margin, and scenario modeling
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation
  • Ability to analyze complex pricing, cost, and market data; identify key drivers; and develop sound, data-driven recommendations
  • Strong logical reasoning skills to evaluate trade-offs, test assumptions, and assess financial and operational impacts of pricing decisions
  • Primarily sedentary work requiring prolonged periods of sitting
  • Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and remotely
  • Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of light materials (up to 10 lbs)
  • Primarily an office-based environment
  • Work is performed in a professional, climate-controlled setting
  • Regular interaction with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and operations
  • May involve occasional meetings or collaboration outside normal business hours to support business needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP or pricing tools preferred
  • SQL/Database experience
  • Additional languages considered an asset
  • Familiarity with ERP and pricing systems to support data integrity and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing analysis for multiple trailer product lines
  • Interpret steel, component, and supply-chain trends to anticipate cost shifts
  • Build advanced pricing models and margin dashboards
  • Partner with leadership to refine pricing strategy and discount structures
  • Provide guidance to sales teams on quotes, bids, and profitability impacts
  • Identify gaps in SKU performance and recommend corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain pricing models to optimize revenue and profitability
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of pricing structures, competitive pricing, and performance benchmarks
  • Performs other duties as assigned
