About The Position

The Senior pricing Analyst plays a critical role with Pricing, supporting the development and execution of pricing strategies that drive profitable growth and competitive positioning. This role combines advanced analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and commercial insight to deliver data driven pricing recommendations across products, customers and channels. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Business Development, Product Management, Rebates, Costing and Finance to deliver data-driven pricing insights, support complex commercial decisions, and maintain pricing integrity across systems and processes. The Senior Pricing Analyst combines advanced analytics, pricing governance expertise, and business acumen to ensuring pricing decisions align with market conditions, customer value and margin objectives.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years’ experience in pricing, revenue management, or commercial strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting pricing strategy and decision making.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, finance, and product teams.
  • Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into business recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Experience with data visualization or BI tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with pricing software (PROS-Conga is a plus).
  • Experience working with ERP systems and pricing governance processes.
  • Exposure to commercial strategy, revenue management or product pricing.

Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy Development
  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategies across assigned products, customers, and market segments.
  • Conduct pricing opportunity assessments including segmentation analysis, price realization studies, and margin optimization initiatives.
  • Analyze cost, competitive positioning, and customer value drivers to recommend price adjustments.
  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to establish value-based pricing frameworks for products and services.
  • Evaluate market trends, inflation impacts, and competitive dynamics to inform pricing strategy.
  • Assist in designing pricing frameworks and guardrails that balance growth, competitiveness, and profitability.
  • Pricing Analytics & Modeling
  • Conduct financial and statistical analysis to evaluate pricing performance and identify opportunities for margin improvement.
  • Build and maintain analytical models to assess price elasticity, volume impact, and profitability tradeoffs.
  • Analyze historical pricing performance and test results to guide future pricing strategies.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualizations that provide insights into pricing trends and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Business Partnership
  • Partner with Sales, Product Management, finance, and Business development to support pricing decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stake holders to understand category strategies. Customer dynamics, and competitive pressures.
  • Provide analytical support for complex deals, promotions, and customer specific pricing scenarios.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by translating analytical insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Pricing Governance & Process Improvement
  • Support pricing governance processes, including approvals, policy compliance, and price book accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pricing workflows, tools, operational processes.
  • Contributes to the development of standardized templates, reporting structures and pricing methodologies.
  • Communication & Leadership Support
  • Prepare clear and concise presentations that summarize complex analyses and influence decision making.
  • Communicate pricing performance, trends, and insights to leadership and business partners.
  • Support strategic initiatives led by pricing leadership.
