The Sr. Pricing Analyst will act as an integrated solutioning partner, working across the organization to develop and communicate pricing, execution, and capture strategies throughout the Business Development & Contract lifecycle from pre-capture through contract closeout. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization delivers competitive, compliant, and risk-balances strategies that align with company financial goals, regulatory requirements, and customer objectives. You will leverage your analytical expertise to prepare detailed cost estimates, pricing models, and financial reports, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights. Your work will directly impact the organization’s ability to secure new contracts, capitalize on tactical sales opportunities, and execute awarded contracts. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex financial data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring that all pricing activities adhere to broad government regulations as well as solicitation specific requirements and company policy. You will also conduct market research to gather insights on industry trends and competitor pricing, providing valuable insights that inform strategic decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and present financial analysis in a clear and concise manner will be essential to your success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience leading proposal pricing for federal contracts including price-to-win analysis, estimating and BOE development, pricing strategy, and subcontractor handling.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Unanet, excellent communication and presentation skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Deep knowledge of the FAR, CAS, the government acquisition lifecycle, and the application of pricing strategies and their impact on contract execution.

Responsibilities

  • Proposal Pricing (60%) – Own all aspects of proposal pricing for assigned opportunities (Prime & Sub)
  • Develop, and maintain, all Pricing artifacts throughout a given proposal. Internal pricing templates, Submission templates, pricing/business volumes, Basis of Estimates (BOEs), cost volumes, etc.
  • Perform assessments of solicitations to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats from a pricing and capture perspective, as well as independently identify questions and inconsistencies from solicitation artifacts.
  • Participate in Q&A sessions, acting as SME for pricing and acquisition related questions.
  • Manage the estimating process, leveraging Kentro and Parter SMEs where required, to develop and document Level of Effort and Labor Mix estimates aligned with Kentro’s proposed solution, contractual limitations, and opportunity specific risk tolerance.
  • Participate in solutioning sessions and own the connection between Pricing and other proposal artifacts (Staffing Volumes, Key Personnel, Management & Technical volumes, Orals slides, etc), ensuring alignment.
  • Prepare subcontractor RFQs, lead rate negotiations, develop target rates, and ensure alignment with established Teaming Agreements.
  • Lead Green Team reviews with Kentro leadership, communicating, and answer direct questions related to, pricing & execution strategy, the competitive landscape, contractual & financial risk, and margins.
  • Cross Functional Support (30%) – Supporting Finance, Contracts/Procurement, and Service Delivery
  • Support Corporate Finance activities on an ad-hoc basis, to include periodic reviews of budgets/AOP, assisting with indirect rate development, scenario testing & analysis, and participating in targeted maturation of Kentro’s FP&A capabilities.
  • Support Project Finance activities on an ad-hoc basis offering strategic insight into pricing and contractual flexibility and providing suggestions to Project Control Analysts for resolving project finance issues. Propagate strategic thought patterns throughout project finance teams and support the development and delivery of Pricing training across these teams.
  • Support Contracts & Procurement with both government and sub/prime engagements, providing pricing expertise and background where required. Support Procurement teams in maintaining Kentro’s Purchasing System by collecting required documentation when handing subcontractors pre-award and performing Price Analysis to support procurement decisions post-award.
  • Support Service Delivery teams in navigating delivery issues related to pricing during transition. During performance, collaborate with Service Delivery Leadership to resolve both customer and subcontractor issues related to Pricing, and provide ad-hoc support and pricing thought leadership for tactical sales and contract modifications.
  • Capture Support (10%) – Supporting Competitive Research, RFIs, ROMs, and other
  • Utilize common federal information databases to extract publicly available information related to pipeline opportunities (USASpending, FPDS, SCI, SAM, etc) to inform capture strategy, teaming composition, and PTW decisions.
  • Leverage your pricing and acquisition expertise to support RFIs/Market Research requests as required.
  • Collaborate with Capture and Service Delivery teams to develop Rough Order of Magnitudes as a part of RFIs/Market Research, or in support of Tactical Sales on active contracts.
