About The Position

Lakeside Book is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead the development of competitive pricing models that support business growth and customer success. This role involves collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Operations to analyze job specifications, shape contract strategies, and guide decision-making. The Senior Pricing Analyst will build detailed pricing models for custom and high-volume print jobs, enhance Excel-based pricing tools, and recommend cost-effective solutions based on material and equipment analysis. The position also includes tracking industry trends and competitor pricing, advising on pricing incentives, mentoring junior analysts, and collaborating with vendors for cost estimates and production feasibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field—or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in pricing, estimating, or financial analysis, ideally in a manufacturing or print environment
• Strong analytical skills with experience building Excel models and financial tools
• Business-savvy mindset with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and levels
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members on pricing strategy and tools
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and MAC platforms
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a track record of managing complex data sets

Responsibilities

• Build detailed, competitive pricing models for custom and high-volume print jobs
• Create and enhance Excel-based pricing tools for fast, accurate quoting
• Analyze materials, methods, and equipment options to recommend cost-effective solutions
• Partner with Sales and Legal to shape pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and support multi-year deals
• Track industry trends, historical data, and competitor pricing to guide planning and positioning
• Advise on pricing incentives and contract terms to support revenue goals
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to pricing process improvements
• Collaborate with vendors on external cost estimates and production feasibility
