A Senior Preconstruction Manager is responsible for leading and managing multiple projects working with a team of preconstruction managers, and shared team resources to deliver exceptional deliverables to our clients. In his/her duty they will be responsible for the day to day execution to provide preconstruction services from initial program design phase until final construction documents are complete for assigned projects. This may include feasibility studies, budget estimates from conceptual design to final bidding, comparative studies, value engineering and presentation of the same to both internal and external clients. As a leader, a senior preconstruction manager should lead by example and personify The HITT Way.

  • Lead and manage multiple projects with a team of preconstruction managers.
  • Provide preconstruction services from initial program design phase until final construction documents are complete.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, budget estimates, comparative studies, and value engineering.
  • Present findings and proposals to internal and external clients.
  • Supervise preconstruction managers, assistant managers, and project engineers.
  • Participate in the hiring and termination process.
  • Prepare and analyze pricing proposals considering market conditions and historical data.
  • Manage the design and preconstruction phase with all stakeholders.
  • Conduct presentations and interviews with clients.
  • Understand and analyze construction drawings and specifications.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
  • At least 7 years of related commercial construction work experience.
  • Experience as the lead preconstruction manager on several projects.
  • Experience in leading and developing team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with On Screen Take-off (OST) and Adobe products, including Bluebeam.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, project scheduling, and geotechnical reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Building Code and LEED Requirements.
  • Experience in client relationship management.
  • Ability to coach, train, and educate preconstruction team members.
