Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) is seeking two Senior Power Platform Developers to lead the migration of legacy solutions into clean, model-driven Power Apps backed by Dataverse, and to take on a backlog of applications that could not be built in SharePoint due to platform technical limitations. This is hands-on, end-to-end work: data modeling, application development, process automation, Power BI dashboards, and paginated reports. Existing SharePoint environments will continue to run during the transition, and ongoing site administration will remain part of the job, though at a scale appropriate for a division of about 100 people. This client IT section is small. Developers, BAs, PMs, and QAs are not separate functions here — they are roles the same people fill depending on what the work requires. That means real ownership and direct engagement with the mission, and it means these developers will work face-to-face with the economists, examiners, and attorneys who use these systems. Those conversations require more than technical skill. The people on the other side of the table are not IT professionals, but they are sophisticated — they know their domain with precision. The core competency is developing a strong understanding of business needs, not eliciting basic technical requirements.
