We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI, Python, and Azure Databricks, with a proven ability to engage with stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and deliver impactful dashboards and insights. You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI development
- 4+ years of proven proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analytics
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Spar
- 4+ years of solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL
- 3+ years of experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Power BI certification
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for BI deployments
- Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports
- Integrate data from Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Databricks into Power BI
- Write Python scripts for data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Optimize data models and DAX queries for performance and scalability
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reporting platforms
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for business users on Power BI usage
- Work closely with data engineers and architects to align reporting with data pipelines
